Double Solo

Bertrand Denzler tenor saxophone

Frantz Loriot viola

______________________________________

We both play a solo, but at the same time: two simultaneous solos in the same space.

Are we capable of not listening to each other, of not hearing each other, of not caring about each other, of not caring about the result of this superimposition, of not building a common language and a shared world, of living together without communicating, of living next to each other without affecting each other, of creating a disparate whole, of proving that everything works? We will not prove anything. Because we know each other, we trust each other and we cheat. But this experience should allow us to produce music that we could not have imagined otherwise.
